Interesting Airport

The Koh Samui airport is a very interesting airport, it is built on an open concept and everything is so Resorty. From arrival to departure, you do not feel that you are at the airport, perhaps more like checking-in and checking-out at a Resort. The shops are also located on a 'street'. Very cool!

Never too old for adventure

During the short break in Koh Samui, the wild side of me decided that I have to try the canopy adventure! It's too much for the Mrs, so I ended up swinging from tree to tree alone while she pamper herself in the Spa.

What a view high up in the jungle!

The perfect holiday....

Home coming!

Finally, after a long time, I'll be on my way back to lovely Singapore. But first I need to reward myself and the wife with a short holiday in Koh Samui. We'll be staying in the Four Seasons (but of course!), and I'll be doing some canopy adventure while Cheryl burns a hole in my pocket with all her Spa treatments... (yikes, there goes my budget for the Olympus E-620)!

We'll be spending one week away from sin city, but only have 2 days in Singapore. It's been a long time for me... and it's feels different from the time I was in the Maldives where I get to go home every 3 months. And it will be the first time I am leaving the office for a week without my laptop!! In the past, the company's lappy is always with me and I feel compel to do emails every night, not this time! Well, this is perhaps one of the 'perks' of not being the boss :)

I hope I can get some rest in Koh Samui, and at the same time, take some photographs in Koh Samui and in Singapore. I've spent the last 4 months staring at the grey skies of Macau, and have not seen the sun at all :( I'm becoming like snow white, and I feel so unhealthy! I need the sun! Darling, where's my coppertone?

Great announcements past 2 weeks

As far as I'm concerned, I've been very pleased with gadgets announcements in the past 2 weeks. Well, first it was the Olympus E-620 being announced, and then it was Apple's Mac Mini being updated. These 2 are my favourite gadgets (and most men) right now - Camera and Computer.

I would say that both are the 'under-dogs' in their own respective areas - Olympus have always produce innovative products and have a loyal following but they are never going to be able to compete with the big time camera makers like Canon or Nikon. The same goes to Apple, they have a great product in the Mac OSX and extremely cool looking product design, but Mac users are just out-numbered by the sheer number of Windows users out there.

Constant improvement to the product lines are signs of the manufacturer's commitment to maintain and update their products. Good news for us, and definitely good news for these trying(bad) times.

Man Utd - Quituple Dream

Manchester United's dream of hauling all available silverware this season seems to be on course as they progress to the semi-finals of the FA Cup with a date with Everton on the 18 April.

Already in the trophy room is the World Club Cup and the Carling Cup. They now have 2 more games to play to win the FA Cup, and then another 6 games to go to be crowned European Champions for 2 consecutive seasons. Tough games aheaad, but as they say, as the going gets tough, the tough gets going!

Go, United, Go!

Yeah!! Completed Diablo II on Hell level

Yes! Yes! Yes! I've completed Diablo II on Hell level, on my own... no hacking, no cheating, no help... My level 89 Babarian braved through all 5 Acts and finally defeated the Lord of Destruction! It was definitely a long journey... but it was satisfying, not to mention very addicting gameplay throughout.

Next up... Warcraft III
