Only Time - Originally performed by Enya

Who can say where the road goes,
Where the day flows, only time?
And who can say if your love grows,
As your heart chose, only time?

Who can say why your heart sighs,
As your live flies, only time?
And who can say why your heart cries
when your love lies, only time?

Who can say when the roads meet,
That love might be, in your heart?
and who can say when the day sleeps,
and the night keeps all your heart?
Night keeps all your heart.....

Who can say if your love grows,
As your heart chose, only time?
And who can say where the road goes
Where the day flows, only time?

Who knows? Only time
Who knows? Only time

I Dreamed A Dream (2 CD set)

I bought this 2 CD set when I was in Singapore. Partly because I wanted to listen to the original version of 'I Dreamed a dream'. Well, I was disappointed by the original version, I think Susan Boyle from Britain's got talent sang more beautifully. That aside, the rest of the CD is amazing!! Absolutely good value and the music selection is inspirational, it's my most listened CD now. I loaded it into Cheryl's ipod and it's playing every night in the bedroom. If you're a contemporary classical music lover, this CD is a must buy!

Tribute to the King of Pop

I grew up listening to his songs. Back in 1983 when we were still using cassette tapes, I bought my first English tape which features songs that won the Grammy awards... The tunes of Beat it!, Thriller, Billie Jean immediately got me into listening to English songs. It was also the time when I was first introduced to music videos - Michael Jackson's music videos have always been awesome! Very refreshing, and there is always a storyline... very different from the music videos in the 80's, which is what made him different.

Long Live The King!

More digitising....

On my recent trip home, I dug out lots of old photographs and brought them back to Macau... as I continue with my own project of digitising all the photographs that I have. From the time in my secondary school, polytechnic, BMT, OCS, first job, first car etc... wow, I didn't know I had captured so much of my life in the form of printed photographs. But prints will always be prints, they will fade and the memories will slowly fade too.

What I hope to achieve is that through this digitising process, the memories can be further frozen and relive in my mind when I savour them again in my dying years... :P

What's next after digitising the photographs... I need a reliable backup for my entire hard disk!

Doraemon 10th Anniversary Gathering

Unbelievable! It's been 10 years since a small group of colleagues working in the Regent Singapore decided to form a Doraemon Club.... 10 years pass and the guys and gals are still in constant contact... That's what true friendship is..

SMILE

Smile, though your heart is aching
Smile, even though it's breaking
When there are clouds in the sky
You'll get by...

If you smile
With your fear and sorrow
Smile and maybe tomorrow
You'll find that life is still worthwhile
If you just...

Light up your face with gladness
Hide every trace of sadness
Although a tear may be ever so near
That's the time you must keep on trying
Smile, what's the use of crying
You'll find that life is still worthwhile
If you just...

Smile, though your heart is aching
Smile, even though it's breaking
When there are clouds in the sky
You'll get by...

If you smile
Through your fear and sorrow
Smile and maybe tomorrow
You'll find that life is still worthwhile
If you just smile...

That's the time you must keep on trying
Smile, what's the use of crying
You'll find that life is still worthwhile
If you just smile

Homeward bound...

Yes, another week to go and I'll be heading home for a short break. This tme, we're off to Chiang Mai to chill a little before spending a few days at home. Hope I don't end up spending money to buy camera and computer accessories :(

For this home coming, I'm also meeting the Doraemon Club guys!! Can't believe that we have this club up for 10 years now!! It was during my days at the Regent that this little club was formed where we meet regularly to makan and at the same time, bitch about work and mthe bosses... the club slowly 'disintegrated' due to the members leaving the hotel, and some moving overseas to work.... But by a twist of fate, we're all making a commitment to meet on the 18th July at the Regent - that'll bring back some fond memories... looking forward to that day.... But first, I got to make my way to Chiang Mai for some elephant trekking, bamboo rafting, tribal visits and shopping at the famous Chiang Mai night bazaaer with the Mrs :)

Hope to get some pretty pictures in Chiang Mai....
