Paper Wars!!

I was actively involved in the planning stages of the re-building of the resort the past few days with various consultants for the different stages and parts of the project. Actively involved means 'sit and listen' only lah... kekeke... cos I'm small fry mah, so all the talking is done my the bosses. It was very interesting to be in those discussions cos there were so many perspective and ways to see things and how each consultant has his or her own way of doing things, giving ideas, and everything detail is taken care of, every little design is thought of and sometimes where designs are compromised, the consultants and designers will have to fight it out and see whose needs are of a priority.

Good sessions but sibei tiring!! Cos just listening, no chance for me to say anything, the only times that I get to say something is 'Yup, it's in the budget.' :P

Nepalese Party

One of the nice things working in a place where you have more than 20 nations is that every month you get to be invited to a 'party' hosted by the people from different nations. Tonight was a Nepalese one, not sure what festival it was, but it was very very very nice. The guys made some traditional food (not sure what it was), and we had some drinks, we talked and we danced. I even learn some 'quick steps' Nepalese style :)

An enjoyable evening....
