Goodbye 2009, Hello 2010

It's that time of the year again... New Year resolutions? No, I've already passed that age of setting New Year resolutions. Nowadays, I set shorter term goals and achieve them one at a time - there is more satisfaction this way, and I am more focus in achieving them.

Ever since I started working in a hotel, my New Year's Eve is spent in the hotel preparing for the year end processes. With technological advancements, I no longer need to do that. The computer softwares is now smart enough to take care of everything... But alas, I still spend New Year's Eve in the hotel cos the wife is usually working on this busy night.

This year, we are both apart from each other, and thankfully, video calls is now a possibility :)

For those spending the time with your loved ones, treasure the moments together!

HAPPY NEW YEAR to all!

Homeward bound

Well, it's another month, and looking forward to another trip back home to see the Mrs...

This time home it's the Christmas holidays, a time of giving, and have already promised to get Cheryl the iPhone. I don't know what's the craze about the iPhone, but it seems to be the coolest gadget on earth now... Anyway, what do I want for Christmas? Well, nothing. I got all camera accessories I wanted, my Mac is running well, so really nothing for Christmas, just go home to see the wifey :)

Finished half marathon - 2 hours 40 mins

Well, I braved through the cold and the morning traffic in Macau to finish the half marathon within 2 hours 40 mins... unfortunately, the rules in Macau differs from Singapore, and they set a time limit of 2 hours 30 mins for the half marathon, any finishers beyond that timing do not get the medal.

Damn! I suffered the cold and aching legs but end up with nothing! :( Gotta try harder next time. For now, it'll take me 3 days to recover from the body aches.. :(
