Trip to GuangZhou

My staff know that I've not been to GuangZhou, so they organised a trip to GuangZhou for me. It was an enjoyable trip, we went to see the ChimeLong Circus, experience the traffic, the sub-way, the restaurants, the 'orchard road' etc... very enjoyable and memorable trip. Really nice of them to plan this for me :)

Going Home!

After 6 years of 'exile', I'm finally going back to motherland! Yes, finally decided to return to Singapore to take up a job offer back home, to be with the Mrs and to enjoy the little home which we have spent the last 5 months beautifying :)

It was a semi-difficult decision, a small cut in pay, have to work a bit more harder, but in the end, family life and my responsibilities as a husband and a son prevails, and I put my signature on the dotted line. So like the terminator used to say - "I'll be back!"

Now next... my 20-year old Presea is reaching it's limit, it has served me (and whoever was driving it while I was away) well, but there will be a time that I will have to scrap it. SO, I'll need a new ride when I get back! Let's see what's on the market then... :)

Splashed out on the 24" Mac LED Cinema Display

I don't know what got into me, a lazy Saturday afternoon, went for a walk and the next thing I know is I brought the 24" Mac LED Cinema Display back home :(

I guess it was the savings that got me to buy it, especially the fact that I got it S$200 cheaper than the retail price in Singapore!! I paid HKD 6,900 for it, converted, it's S$1,250. The same thing costs S$1,450 in Singapore!

It's an awesome piece of work! The LED display is bright and clear, and even with my bedroom window behind me, I can read the text easily. Just awesome, Apple has done it again.
