The Champions de-Throned

27 May 2009 - 1945 hrs - Rome, Italy

Barcelona had beaten Manchester United by 2-0 to be crowned the new European Champions. On a night where the 2 best players of the world meet, it is the Argentinian Star - Lionel Messi that stole the limelight and win it for the Spanish Champions. It all went wrong for United, the palyers did not play well, made lots of mistakes and somehow do not look as hungry as Barcelona for the title. The game was lost in the first 10 minutes when against the run of play, Barcelona slipped past Man Utd for their first goal.

Disappointed that we could not hold on to the European Crown for the second consecutive year.... BUT,

WE'LL BE BACK!!

Champions AGAIN!

Yup, although Man Utd play to a draw with Arsenal, they still win the League! Congraulations!! A hat trick of Premier League trophies for the second time!

Now, bring on Barcelona...

Mongkok - Hong Kong

My first visit to Mongkok in Hong Kong today. The place is well known for it's electronic goods, cameras and computing stuff. Plenty of shops selling all kinds of computers, all brands of camera, mobile phones, accessories etc etc... The place is pack with people, the place is pack with people... Unbelievable, way surpasses Orchard Road on a weekend.

If you think Funan Centre and Sim Lim Square are great place to get stuff, you'll go crazy in Mongkok! Prices are extremely competitive, with shops giving all kinds of freebies to entice buyers, just crazy. For the consumer looking for electronic goods, it's a shopping haven, especially for camera lovers, gadgets junkies, you can spend the whole day here!

I had an objective, so for me it was get in, grab the stuff and get out! I need to be back to catch the Premier League winning game between Man Utd and Arsenal :)

But I will definitely find my way back to Mongkok for more stuff :P
