Return to Kuda Huraa

News had it that I'll be returning to Kuda Huraa in September :)

I'll be finishing my Langkawi assignment at the end of August, return to motherland for a few days and then onwards to paradise. Well, not exactly back to paradise, it's tons of work waiting for me. I've to rush the budget within a month and also take care of the construction accounts, and perhaps have to do budget presentation with the new GM. Haiz... I've never really rested this year, Maldives -> Riyadh -> Langkawi -> Maldives... this year supposed to go Nepal for trekking one, but work keeps preventing me from going :( Looks like going to postpone it to next year again...

Hit and Run

It had to happen one day.... one of my colleague got a hit and run incident. What so unique in this incident is that the culprit is the cow!! :D

What happened was, he was driving home one night, suddenly a cow came charging towards his car, got bumped, landed on the bonnet, hit the windscreen, over the roof of the car, fell onto the road, picked itself up and continue running into the darkness!! The whole thing was like watching a Jackie Chan stunt, but this time it's done by a cow!! I didn't see it but from the way he related the incident to us, it was damn funny!!

The cows are actually a road hazards here in Langkawi, this is not the first time our colleagues ran into cows, sometimes they just come out from nowhere :( Well, just have to be more careful when driving, especially at night.
